Trama
Quando Irmy, un comico in difficoltà con una moglie incinta, si rivolge a suo padre per chiedere dei soldi, scopre che l’unica eredità che gli spetta è un terreno situato nei territori palestinesi occupati, acquistato dalla sua bisnonna prima ancora che esistesse lo Stato di Israele. Da uomo di sinistra, Irmy è combattuto. Ha davvero diritto a quella terra? E dovrebbe reclamarla? Irmy decide di andare a vederla… solo per scoprire che coloni ebrei di destra l’hanno occupata e ci hanno costruito una cantina vinicola. Insieme a suo padre, Irmy affronta i coloni, l’IDF (l’esercito israeliano) e il governo israeliano per riottenere la terra. Ma i meccanismi complessi dell’occupazione sono ben rodati e pronti a ostacolarlo, offrendo uno sguardo raro su come funzionano davvero, in un viaggio alla Roger & Me che è al tempo stesso esilarante e spietato.
